Compare ticketing platforms

Picking a ticketing platform for your show? Here's how the platforms we hear about most often stack up - including which ones sync automatically into WedScan. We built WedScan around TicketSpice first, and it's still what we recommend, but the numbers below are the same ones you'd find on each platform's own site.

Fees and features verified against each platform's own site as of September 2026 - ticketing pricing changes often, so confirm current numbers on the platform's own pricing page before you commit. Fee structures aren't all built the same way: some platforms bundle card processing into the number they publish, others charge it separately, so the raw per-ticket figures above aren't perfectly apples-to-apples on their own.

Why we recommend TicketSpice

It's not just what we integrate with most deeply - it's what we use ourselves. Every show Affinity Wedding Expos runs goes through TicketSpice, so we're trusting it with our own events before we ever recommend it to you.

WedScan was built around TicketSpice from day one, so it's the only platform with a real-time integration that's fully out of beta - one webhook per show gets you real-time sync, proven across hundreds of real shows. Beyond that, it's a flat per-ticket fee instead of a percentage, there's no monthly cost, and reviewers consistently rate its support as the best of the group. It won't be the right fit for every show, but it's where we'd start.

A few of its features aren't matched anywhere else on this page, either: built-in cashless/RFID payment terminals, native SMS marketing, and attendee data enrichment. They're optional paid add-ons, not bundled in for free, but they're built into TicketSpice directly - none of the other four platforms here offer them at all, so you'd be stitching in a third-party tool to get the same thing.

Eventbrite and Humanitix both sync into WedScan too - Eventbrite in real time once its two webhooks are set up, Humanitix on a scheduled sync since it has no webhook support at all. Tix123 and SimpleTix aren't connected to WedScan yet, so a show on either of those platforms means no automatic sync - you'd be entering attendees by hand.

Already using one of these? Set up your show and connect it in minutes.
